New Marathon Registrations

Well, I am back into training and enjoying the wonderful running temperatures here in VA. Yesterday, I received my complimentary running shoes from my sponsor Georgetown Running Company -- which is super sweet! So I will doing some serious breaking of the shoes in the next few weeks and I am hopeful they will be ready for May 4th. If not, I have some old shoes to wear.

3. May 4th ~ Potomac River Run Marathon, Alexandria, VA -- Registered
4. May 25th ~ Vermont City Marathon, Burlington, VT -- Registered
5. July 25th ~ 12 Hour Ultra Around the Lake Race, Wakefield, MA -- Registered
6. August 16th ~ Extraterrestial Full Moon Midnight Marathon, Rachel, NV -- Registered
7. October 11th ~ Baltimore Marathon, Baltimore, MD -- Registered
8. November 2nd ~ New York City Marathon, NYC -- Registered for Lottery
9. November 23rd ~ Philadelphia Marathon, Philadelphia, PA -- Pending
10. December/January? ~ Looking for a marathon

I am looking to qualify for the 50 states club if I can run the NYC Marathon or at the Phily Marathon instead. The 12 hour ultra will be a fundraiser for the Winans-Williams Environmental Action Scholarship at Sterling College.

Unfortunately, I will not be organizing the Sterling College Marathon as previously planned. The timing, cost and logistical planning is not something I can handle in a short period of time.
